Birds of a feather
Despite chilly showers today I went to my favorite riverside park to get resource photos for Wednesday's class. This one doesn't make the grade as a landscape shot, but the gang of four here made me smile.

Hello Violet,
I wish you could see the photo, too. Can you see photos on the other blog? I could post it there.
I just went to your excellent blog and caught up with what has been going on in your life. I hope that the talk with your parents goes well. You know, I'm at the opposite end of the meeting the parents situation than you are. I'm now the mother that has the suitor shaking in his boots, but I'll tell you a secret--I'm more nervous than the young fellow! I hope he'll like Jean's mother. I also think that if Jean likes him, he is most likely a fine person--she is careful of the company she keeps. Of course we don't have the caste system at work here, though a person's economic class can be a source of conflict in some families.
I'll keep you in my thoughts today and send you any good fortune I can. And as for the duckies up there, I'd be very pleased to send you the photograph if you'll email me your address. I tried to find it on your blog, but couldn't.
All the best to you.

The Swanee Pond is it? Like it though!
Sorry about the delay in posting/commenting but I have been given many a rejection slip when it comes to the password bit. I tell the machinery that I have forgotten it, it gives me the password and then rejects it. It's finally come up with the goods and so here I am!!!
